What's new in Sage Intacct

A release is an automatic upgrade that you receive with your Sage Intacct service. Each release contains new features and enhancements designed to increase your productivity.

Sage Intacct uses a quarterly release cycle. As it's a cloud service, all customers are automatically updated to the latest release—there are no version choices or manual upgrades.

Releases are numbered 1 - 4 and follow a format such as 2026 Release 4, where:

• 2026 is the release year
• Release 4 = the fourth release of the year

For example, after the November 2026 release, all Intacct instances are on 2026 Release 4 until the next release in February (2027 Release 1).

Before each Sage Intacct release:

• Review the release notes to understand upcoming features and changes.
• Attend a release highlights meetup webinar to learn about key updates and best practices.
• Review permissions and roles to determine whether any changes are needed after the release.
• Update internal documentation, training materials, and business procedures as needed.
• Contact your Sage Intacct account representative if you have questions about release features or adoption planning.

The Early Adopter program gives a select group of customers early access to new Sage Intacct features before they’re generally available. Participants test these features in real‑world scenarios and provide feedback that helps us refine, improve, and validate functionality prior to general release.
